          Scutaro is hardly a scrub.
He's the consummate #2 hitter, great bat control, knows how to move runners along, very baseball smart.
Career .276 hitter, above league average in OBA, can play every infield position well.

They're not stars, but it seems like its not the stars that win championships. Its playing like a team with everyone doing their job that gets it done. Watch and see who "wins" the off season by acquiring the most stars and note how they do. History says they will disappoint.

The Yankees have 27 championships.... money/stars didn't play a factor?

Well I was referring to this century, how did Arod, Cano and Texiera do in the post season last year?

I'm sorry I don't understand this post, are you saying Scutaro and Pagan are stars? My post suggested that Scutaro and Pagan aren't stars but they are the type of guys you need to win a championship. While the team that spends the off season building the best fantasy team by paying for the big names often falls short. See Anaheim and Miami.

And yes I have watched every moment of the Giants playoff run like 4 times, and plan to watch it many more times in the future

Pagan was a big sign for the Giants

                          Hoping Scutaro stays healthy
