Second that comment. I'm not sure I would use the term "deepest" to describe it, as so many have, but I like to refer to it a "shark tank". Most of the top 10 are largely viable contenders, it lacks an extremely dominant chamption, and theres just the right ratio of long fights to explosive short knockouts.

Bendo defiantly has an avenue to winning, as he is the wrestler and Diaz never does well on the scorecards. But as the favorite he only has that avenue. Nate is better standing and Nate is probably the most dangerous guy in the division off his back. Plus Nate won't lose by cardio. Bendo could defiantly out-work many other fighters in the division, but not Nate.

I think it will be a pretty good/close fight. I'm most interested in how they matchup on the ground.

Sure. But I don't like to think fighters will resort to that. But always a possibility. But I think since that Condit fight the Diaz bro's must have put some time on working on ways to counter fighters that will try and use that against him. I doubt if Bendo started doing that to Nate, that Nate would just stalk Bendo like Nick did Condit. Nick didn't expect that from Condit and was angry that he fought like that...he didn't react and try something different like he should have. And the Condit fight is STILL a fight many scored for Diaz. So it isn't like if Bendo does something similar to what Condit did that he will win. No, at best he squeaks away with a tough decision.

Also, as much as I hated Condit for that, you have to give him credit for pulling it off. Isn't like they are the same fighters. Bendo dropped Frankie in the first by being aggresive, then shied away from kicks and let Frankie come at him. It takes discipline to stick to a gameplan for 5 rounds.

I think if he uses a kick and run gameplan, that at best he comes away with an iffy decision. Which the odds more than account for. But yea, it is possibility. Nate is so long and good with his boxing that Ben is going to get hit in the face whether he runs or not.

Benson Henderson has one of the hardest weight cuts in all of MMA, and looked absolutely disgusting.

Diaz didn't have nearly as much trouble making weight, he just misunderstood the rules. He had no idea he couldn't be one pound over.

I'm big on Benson too, but let's be legit here.
