I've officially tried four times, most recent time was 42 days. It was painful every day. But I did read some good books, "Caligula" by Camus, "Catcher in the Rye," "From Socrates to Sartre" byT.Z. Lavine, and alot of "The Complete Catechism of the Catholic Church."

Have never tried to quit for good, usually when i hit a bad streak i'll quit for a while and only cap games. Once i get comfortable with it again i get back at it. Longest i've gone without putting any money down in that stretch is about a month.

I quit about 10 times or so and lasted for about a month, a few times I had to quit because it was part of probation. I love gambling and it loves me.

I have never tried, however I only bet baskets, nascar, and football. Nascar is the best way to make a profit in my opinion.
