In DC, we practically did. We have a quality starting quarterback for several years to come, we have a workhorse back in Alfred Morris, we just surpassed last year's win total with 4 games to go, AND we just swept all three division rivals back-to-back-to-back. It's like penetrating Christmas in DC right now.

RG3 might turn out to be one of the top five qb's of all time, but will not be changing the way the game is being played. Simply cannot take that many hits. Not him necessarily, but qb's in general.

One caveat being that if the NFL continues its anti-hitting campaign then maybe a qb won't have to worry about much and he or she can just skip downfield.

His pass accuracy will need to drastically increase for him to be anywhere near a top qb of all time.

Think the major difference between RG3 and other black QBs is the offense Shannahan has him running. Other black QBs were forced under center and put into traditional offenses that limited their natural abilities.

The option doesn't work in the NFL, no one can survive these hits long term.

Remember 12 months ago when Cam Newton changed the way the game was being played? Yeah me too.

Anyone who thinks this offense where your QB gets viciously drilled 5 times a game is sustainable is completely deluded and sucked into the hype of the moment, stop being prisoners of the moment.

Had more to do w/ Shannahans gameplan. Giving them a free release and having a full back to cut them 1 play, option read off the them the next, so on and so forth. Beautiful play calling to keep them guessing.
