Was Donovan McNabb just a bum at the end of his career?
RG3 seems to be ok under Shanahan and Vikings are a whole lot better since he stopped taking snaps and left the clipboard in his empty locker.

I was a big fan of his but yes he was a bum and seeing no one signing him this season proves it especially with some of the terrible QB's playing now.

He has had some harsh words for Shanny. Shanny has had nothing but praise for RG3

Donovan and Shanahan didn´t liked each other and Donovan was washed up, I don´t know what happened to the guy, the spark was not there.
I will always respect Donovan for those nice string of winning games and seasons that he gave us.

When did McNabb become washed up? He was better than Vick before he was traded to Skins.

Better than Vick yes, but he was not at his prime or full potential. Donovan was not the same after he lost the superbowl.

Who knows what woulda have played out if the Eagles would have kept McNabb. Looks like they went from having 3 potential starting QB's 3 years ago to now having none. Oh, how things change. With that being said I think Foles is the real deal.

He didn´t had that much of interceptions as you think, did you know for example that in the same time span 1999 to 2009 he had less interceptions than Peyton Manning?

6 pro bowls, one more than Brady in the same time span and 4 more than Roethlisberger.

Yes.
Lost his mobility and couldn't evade pressure anymore.
Made a habit of throwing balls into the dirt.
Started throwing a lot more interceptions towards the end of his career.

Except he lets RG3 go into heavy contact. Kid will be done in 3 years if he is allowed to take shots like he has been, a Mike Vick Redux. I watched Cam Newton the other day and this beast has obviously been told to never take contact. (Or he is a huge pussy, which is possible).

Nonsense. Unfounded.
McNabb ranks fourth best all-time in career interception percentage (2.20%) among NFL quarterbacks. Among quarterbacks with at least 1,500 pass attempts, only Rodgers (1.99%), Neil O'Donnell (2.11%), and Tom Brady (2.19%) have a lower career interception percentage than McNabb. As previously stated, 6 pro bowls.
234 TD
29 rushing TD
7 seasons with +3,000 passing yards
92 career wins
5 NFC championship appearences
Eagles' all-time leader in career wins, pass attempts, pass completions, passing yards, and passing touchdowns
How can you say he was a bum from beginning to end? What is your angle?

So, what you are trying to say with the image is that McNabb, Marino, Kelly, Kosar, Fouts and a bunch other good QB`s are bums because they don`t have a SB ring? And that make the Dilfers, Williams and Hostetlers no bums?

the angle every qb is graded at, winning. 1 NFC Championship, Zero Super Bowls wins. Winning is the only thing in sports, stats are worth the paper they are wrote on.

WOW, so you are saying that only 28 quarterbacks in the history of the NFL are not bums, the rest of them are because they have 0 championships, Kelly? Marino? etc, etc,
I´m glad you are a gambler instead of running a franchise or an owner kid.

I remember watching him in minny and it was so blatantly obvious that he could care less wether his team won or lost. He was just there to make a bit more money. Looked like he was just trying to get that last year of pay while staying as healthy as possible.
