NIU lost to Iowa... Iowa is terrible. So terrible, they were bad in a miserable B1G.

I have family that are NIU alum's - and this is still unacceptable.

actually, this is perfect. anything that further discredits the BCS system and its rules, the better. it's not like we're sacrificing anything worthwhile anyway.

the only team that gets bumped is OU and that should be fine with everyone outside of there. everyone's sick of that program and they were a shitty team this year anyway. they wouldn't have even been in the mix if there weren't multiple teams with post-season bans, fukk em.

the 2 BCS spot limit is a different matter which should be addressed, but having OU miss the cut is sweet justice for all the other times they undeservedly got shots at the BCS due to money and were absolutely humiliated.

Heck, NIU almost lost to 1-10 Kansas too. After three quarters they were losing and they had to rally and score 17 in the 4th quarter to barely win.

After three quarters OU was beating Kansas 52-0. LOL

What a joke. OU gets penalized for playing top 5 Notre Dame OOC. NIU gets rewarded for losing to 4-8 Iowa OOC.

The purpose of the BCS is to get #1 vs #2. They will tell you that and nothing else really matters. It wasn't designed to get all the top teams against each other.

Besides those 2 "great losses", they have no real standout wins at all

UGA, SC, T A&M, and LSU are better teams with better cases, period.
