I have not seen many people making him a saint, I have seen alot of people say they feel bad for his teammates because of how shocking and unexpected this was. Also, the woman he killed has Charles wife's cousin, so people have sympathy for him. One of the analyst on ESPN even said " we need to remember, before he killed himself, he became a murderer by killing his girlfriend"

Mental illness is devastating and this could very well have elements of that. Until you've walked 100 miles in their shoes, you wouldn't know how bad their feet can be hurting.
