state your case on who wins the wildcards
ok guys... it's roughly a week after the all-star break. so, state your case who's gonna win the wildcards from both the AL and NL

in the NL... i think the braves will win the wild card.

the braves are showing signs of life, after surviving that awful streach about a month ago. this team has the experience to make that post season push, and history is on there side.

    Cincinnati 49 44 -- 69
    San Francisco 46 46 2.5 70
    LA Dodgers 46 46 2.5 70
    Arizona 45 46 3.0 71
    Milwaukee 45 48 4.0 69
    Colorado 44 47 4.0 71
    Houston 45 48 4.0 69
    Atlanta 43 49 5.5 70
    Philadelphia 42 48 5.5 72
    Washington 39 54 10.0 69
    Chi Cubs 35 56 13.0 71
    Pittsburgh 32 61 17.0 69

in the AL i'm going to go with the red sox. the reason i'm going to take a shot with the red sox to win the wild card is the same reason i picked the braves. i just gotta go with the more experienced team here.

    NY Yankees 53 36 3.0 73
    Toronto 51 40 6.0 71

    Texas 47 45 10.5 70
    LA Angels 46 45 11.0 71
    Seattle 44 48 13.5 70
    Baltimore 43 51 15.5 68
    Cleveland 41 50 16.0 71

I will agree with Atlanta for the NL wildcard. Projecting this team to finish over 90 wins. If they heat up at the leadoff position, this may be the most dangerous offensive team Atlanta has ever fielded.

Detroit will falter down the stretch due to lack of experience and slide into the AL wildcard position.

were right around the 90 game mark, so this is the time atlanta usually makes there post season run.

needless to say this 14 trend should continue once again this year.

            Tigers and Braves

Detroit will blow their division lead and Atlanta will sneak in the backdoor.

I'd like to sneak in this backdoor
