    Boogie Nights
Am I complete artard for never having seen this?

I'm watching it for the first time right now, and had absolutely no idea what it was about beforehand. Figured it would be about some night club or something... nopeee.

I only knew it because Simmons references it every now and then. Pretty funny stuff, and now I know where Brock Landers got his name.

I wouldn't say you were a complete retard for not having seen it but it has gotten a lot of attention. It had some Oscar nominations. It has been parodied and referenced a lot and become part of pop culture.

Oh man did I have a thing for Roller Girl.

In my top five of all time. This movie made P.T. Anderson. Gave him leeway to make Magnolia. A little trivia. When Burt Reynolds first walked onto the set, he almost walked off because he thought P.T.Anderson was to young and inexperienced to direct him in a movie. Scary thing is it turned out to be Burt's best movie in years if not ever.
