way too many jokes here guys. i know posters are just trying to be funny, but this is sad and senseless.
This is what happens when u live in a world that's become totally desensitized to these kind of events.
Get used to it guy.

Should you find yourself struggling for any reason please contact a legitimate staff member at SBR privately. We can't pay your bills or stop your wife from hating the NBA but we can direct you towards many avenues of assistance and/or just listen. Men are notoriously horrid for dealing with depression which = a much higher rate of suicide than women. Add being a gambler into that, it's much worse. We need to take care of each other and overcome the stigma of asking for help.
Very true.
On avg those suffering some kind of mental illness have a 30 year shorter life expectancy over those of us who r masters of the art of self manipulation (aka discipline).
Very sad but this is the world we live in.

People get murdered every day, people get kidnapped every day, people get molested every day. Thats life, But when it gets sensationalized like this shit does every time it involves someone in sports it becomes laughable.
Thats why I dont watch TV, I havent had my TV onall day and guess what, it means I havent had to hear about this stupidity all day.
A guy killed someone and killed himself, I bet it happens every other day. Who gives a shit? Just because he is some scrub on the worst team in the NFL I am supposed to care more?
I grew up in Maine, even that doesnt interest me that he went to Orono. Just like it didnt interest me when that little girl disappeared from Waterville and was on Nancy Grace for a month. Or when Steven King got hit by some drunk driver.
Shit like that happens everyday all over the country, because some stories get more coverage than others for the exact same thing is what is wrong with this country. Or one of the many things wrong with it.

it seems we have 2 sides here. the posters that dont give a fukk at all and the ones that think its sad. i for one think its sad, but im certainly not going to lose any sleep over it. its getting a ton of attention because its an interesting story to say the least. i understand that joe shmoe gets killed every day, but joe shmoe doesnt have an NFL game to play in tomorrow.

Yet you not only took the time to read it and respond to it but apparently also count the words.
Whats your point.....

I remember watching Suffolk county championship Belcher was a monster linebacker for west Babylon and sometimes fullback and oline against north Babylon with Jason gwaltney(the best running back you never heard of),scooter berry and Danny green of the spurs. Feel terrible for his family

Gwaltney was pretty well known as a prospect since WVU was on tv all the time although he never did anything on the field there

No. If you get HIV then go get treatment.
Especially since it's so easily curable if he did some simple research.
