The commercial is meant to be sexy and hot and for a certain testosterone filled demographic of perhaps 16-35. I am older, with a 21 month old, and I can watch it all the time. It is not about direct tv as much as sexiness. I guess those who don't like it or are tired of it are either not in the age demographic or missing some testosterone.
