for most, units are nothing more than a thinly veiled way to have action every night. if you're so disciplined, then spot bet when you feel you have a reasonable edge.

obviously doesn't apply to all and definitely not to people that put in work everyday in order to handicap a lot of games, but let's be honest - that number is low.

and obv units can just be terminology to represent your bet size, but I am speaking more about these "BR management, strict 1 unit, every night bettors"

I have gotten real lazy with BR management. Used to be insanely strict about it. Went to Vegas a few weeks back, and was betting like a fukking moron. Luckily it was college basketball, and the Duke game easily covered any and all losses on the trip. As a result, it carried over to my offshore books once I got back home.

A normal wager these days is $100, so I'd say that is the current unit. Although, I took a bad hit recently on a stupid fukkin' homer bet, and need to lower it.
