Only 2 back-up RBs out for NIU. They rely on the pass, not the run anyway... These guys have been out for weeks.

Settle missed the last four games with an undisclosed injury and is downgraded to doubtful to play Friday vs. Kent State. The junior backup was second on the team with 453 rushing yards and five TDs prior to injury.
Womble was charged for a DUI recently and is now on indefinitely suspension. The senior was the opening game starter but that was his only start. He has eight total carries on the year for 12 yards and a TD.

I think you misunderstood him. The quote is "N. ILLIONOIS is trash". It's hard to tell if he was trying to say Illinois or Ill Onions. If it is the latter, I would have to agree that rotten onions are trash and should be thrown away immediately.

I dont think people are on him about the play, I think the arrogance of the play is what people are blasting him over. He comes in here and says that it's a 99.9% chance such and such team will win. Then he says don't let it slip by your fingers... It's one thing to say hey I think this game should be Kent State and here is why, vs... The arrogance not to take the points, and the arrogance to say they win 99.9% of the time and the arrogance of saying the wrong team is favored just rubs some the wrong way. He could have convinced someone to not take the points and in essence could have cost them lot's of money.... We all lose bets just about every day but when you are that confident cocky arrogant then when you lose you should be ready and willing to take the heat...

I wouldn't call anyone trash that I didn't know and someone posting on a forum board??? Maybe if they were being racist or sexist or just plain mean, then maybe... But to react to someone who might have cost them money he kind of deserves it. I was on the other side and lost as well (I could have said I took the points and won) or ( I didn't play it) but I'm an honest guy (I lost), so I'm not judging his pick or anyone elses but the attitude is a bit off putting. 2dabank, fair enough... I don't tail unless I like the play already and sometimes good discussion and points help me make a play a little higher, or a no play. Once in a while I throw down a 50 bet on a blind tail especially on the basketball late nighters where it's Loyola Marymount playing Elon and I want action. lol... But like you said if those plays lose it's my own fault and 50 is no sweat off my sack.... Good luck in your plays today... I need ok state to score again for my game bet to have a chance.
