Someone tell me how Kent St is +8 1/2 in the MAC Title game??

Kent St was probably the quietest 11-1 team you've ever seen. But they were 10-2 ATS this year and getting 8 1/2 points is insane. they have an excellent shot of winning outright.

I LOVE NIU and jordan lynch, the kid should be Illinois' QB, but he can't do it all and on the road/neutral site to boot.

Take the 8 1/2 points, its a gift! Sprinkle some on Kent St ML too...

i've wondered the same thing, making me think it's got to be a trap.

The only thing is that if Kent State wins they are in a BCS game, do you think the MAC would throw a game to get a team into the BCS with all the money that it would bring?

it's 7 1/2 now. I'd take uni if it goes to 7. they did play the weak side of the mac.

Regardless, thats almost insane to get that many points in a game like this that i think comes down to a FG either way

They've basically played the same SOS up to this point, and N Illinois is slightly better on paper.

Based purely on stats N Illinois deserves to be favored but I agree 8 seems like a lot. I still gotta look at other factors though.

Forget about the gambling aspects of this game !!! I do know and agree that mac is as shady as the refs in the nba lol and forget pts for get laying and taking over or under if this is true that ths conference gets 6 million dollars if the underdog wins outright knowing past history involving this conference i do believe ml has a very good chance og cashing and to me its worth a shot, even if it falls flat on its face knowing this info u must take a shot ml for me for 200 and also ml 5 team parlay with 4 open spots at the dime
