This Duke team athletically speaking is one of the worst Duke teams that I can remember going back to the Johnny Dawkins days. That being said, this team has a really high basketball IQ and is very well coached. Still a legit top 10 team.

Took out #3 Kentucky and then took out #2 Louisville to win the Battle 4 Atlantis crown. Good leadership group with Mason Plumlee, Kelly, Cook, and Curry. Rasheed Sulaimon looks like he's at least in the top 2 or 3 freshmen in the whole country. Played the whole season so far without Marshall Plumlee, brother of Mason, and a 7 footer. Solid depth and, of course, backed by the greatest coach ever in Coach K. Wouldn't shock me if this turned out to be their year.

Duke beat a higher ranked team at that time and now has gone on to beat most of the pre-season top 5.

Thorton or Cook, doesn't matter who is playing point. Need Sulaimon to stretch the floor and provide that spark.
