Another cool trick if you like the breast/white meat and want it juicier is to cook it upside down!! It makes it look kinda funny but gives you some succulent juicy breast meat!

I have injected when frying.

the recipe i quoted starts with the bird upside down, then flip to each leg/wing side, and finish off breast up. Golden all around and juicy. The brine helps with that too.

Its the way you cook it. If you cook it nice and moist from the inside its pretty good.
But you're right, if its dry it sucks donkey balls.

Yea, you smoke a turkey for about 8 1/2 hours at about 275 degrees in a smoker. Or you can use a turkey fryer and that is good too. A turkey thrown in the oven for a little too long is way too dry !

Both good choices. You can do it well in oven you just have to know some the tricks we been mentioning. You just throw the fukker in there it gonna suck.
