He still is a great player but he does not have the explosion like he use too, secondly I think he tires easier now .
Lakers are slightly overrated also

Dont know about the overrated part. If they win tonight, they will be 9-1. Thats on a pace for 72-10 or 73-9. Next 5 games are against Denver, Sacramento, Jersey, Dallas, and Toronto. All at home. They can easily be 14-1 after that stretch.

I won't call it easily Denver, Dallas, and Toronto all have the ability to upset them. Kobe of course has lost a step he is getting older and has been playing a ton of basketball all last season taking lakers to the finals then the olympics now a new basketball season and pinkie that needs surgery. I do not see the Lakers as overrated though he can still dominate the game like no other even Lebron, because he has a better mid-long range game. Plus he can still lock down on a defender when he needs to. Lebron has definitely taken over the most explosive player role though with his ability to attack the basket like nobody else can dream of.

yeah Dallas looked horrible start of season but they are starting to get their stuff together. Denver is no pushover and I cant wait for that SAC game, put some on SAC ML and cash that underdog if that hits would be crazy

There wont be a game in that stretch where the Lakers arent favored by at least 8. The closest would be Denver, but the Lakers were 8 point favorites on the road in Denver so I cant imagine them making it a smaller spread at home.

The Lakers aren't even close to overrated. They are THE team in the West. It's the other Western Conference teams that have lost their step. They are all old now. The teams that have traditionally been dominant the past decade are falling. The Spurs, Suns, and Mavericks are all on the downslope of their successful years. The Lakers are still pretty young and Kobe has more than a few years left. He simply has a team around him now and isn't forced to create points and W's by himself anymore. Lebron is in that situation now, however. It has more to do with what is surrounding these players than whether Kobe got old in the past six months.

I think Lakers are gonna win this thing tonight. Kobe still has that explsiveness in him. he's still one of the dangerous shooters around.

I also think Kobe has lost a step. It happens gradually, he still has 3 or 4 more years of domination left in him.

The Lakers have the best overall team in the NBA. they are the deepest, and the best coached team as well. It will be hard to stop them come playoff time. the only issue is will we be able to cash tickets off of them in the playoffs if the lines are too high...

I think the Lakers will have trouble with Physical teams from The East, Kobe has always sruggled with tough defensive and teams like this.
