Why is Pitt only a +2.5 pt dog to Michigan???

Shouldn't Michigan be at least -5 here? Both teams have looked good early on but #4 is only a 2.5 point fave over an unranked squad on a neutral court?

Would have to imagine this line will attract a ton of Michigan bets. Line might get pushed up to 3.5 or 4 but still. Having trouble understanding why this line is so low...

i'd like to share your optimism but I don't expect much out of them this year. I like their freshmen, but having 2 frosh starters in Big East play is gonna be rough. Tray won't be able to carry them all year

Look for Horford to get 10 minutes+ playing time in this game and be a factor. He is still getting back after the injury. Pitt was not a good team last year and I don't see much improvement, although this Zeigler kid is promising and they do seem deep. Michigan is deep and good and has individually better players. If they stay away from dumb/forced deep shots they will win this game.

that is the main reason I like Pitt in this game. they have already faced adversity and over come it. So when Michigan goes on their runs, Pitt wont panic and will keep their composure. Where as Michigan hasnt been tested at all yet and we have no idea how they will respond when Pitt goes on their runs

Michigan has too solid of guard play in Burke and Hardaway. Both could be first team all big ten this year. I think Michigan is the play. Maybe Michigan shouldn't be #4, but they are definitely a top 12 team. Just a solid squad with just as good of a coach as Pitt in John Belein.
