this is no joke, many of us have lost tens of thousands and it hurts like hell, can only imagine those who have lost hundreds of thousands and even millions

Yes, for the former group it hurts like hell. Glad I'm not in the latter. I also take solace in the fact that I am young and not ready to retire for quite some time. Gotta suck to be 55-65 w/ a heavily invested nest egg right now.

the market will come back, it may not be within the nest 3 years but it will rebound
the economy goes in cycles.
guy that works for me has lost 11K in bonds in the last 3 months. He's about to shit a brick. the only way you lose is if you cash out. patience is the key here.

Hell if I had a few 10K notes lying around I'd be buying shit up left and right and sit on it for about 10 years
