Just read a few SC blogs and I already see people proclaiming that Wittek was a better high school QB than Barkley, so he must be a better college QB. LOL

I give SC fans credit, despite their record or performance they constantly hype their team. It's as if the reality that their team is just a notch above average is just too much for them to handle.

I've simply pointed out that guys that know a whole fukk of a lot more about football than those of us sitting behind a computer screen point to Wittek's size, arm strength, field vision, track record, etc., and suggest that the kid has huge upside.

Wittek may have huge upside, but my comment was in reference to placing a wager on SC, on the hopes that he surprises people. SC is 3-8 against the spread with Barkley and has failed to show up, or maybe they did, for any meaningful game this season. Why any bettor believes that SC will suddenly be the team that they were projected to be against Notre Dame is beyond me. It's clear that the SC players checked out awhile ago.
