By rule, looks correct. If he would have been in the end zone trying to complete the catch to the ground, it would have been incomplete. However, he did have possession before he entered the end zone and crossed the line. More akin to a RB breaking the plane of the end zone and losing the ball after it crossed the plane I'm guessing.

There was a goal line though and by rule, he had two feet in, had possession, and broke the plane. Possession was obtained before Alexander went to the ground. Not that comparable to Megatron's play. Megatron was in the end zone and was going to the ground while making the catch.
