I was thinking today and maybe some of you guys know. Do you think books would rather have days like yesterday with huge upsets or would they rather had large favs win more. I know these upsets kill a lot of big parlays and people that like to bridge jump, but I wonder if books lose more when the big favs or the big dogs win.

it is a marathon for the books , they all win in the long run.

When they lose , they just look at it as a short term loan to bettors.

Could also be big favorites winning without covering, mostly true for big 10+ point favorites. But yes dogs over favorites.

that comes nowhere close to big dogs winning the game. if a big favorite wins but doesn't cover, both their ml and teaser are both still good which also keeps many parlays still alive.
