I thought the Colts at -13.5 was a decent play, but I never lay more than 10 points in the NFL and 21 points in NCAA. As a matter of fact, if the opening number is higher than that, I don't even look at or consider the game. This personal rule of thumb means I rarely have to worry about a backdoor cover when betting favorites.

will the public ever figure out that the colts aren't a high scoring team this year? Theyve been way under the over/unders so far.

laying 14 points in the NFL seems like a square play to me....i was real close to betting Cleveland but couldn't pull myself to it just b/c I didn't see Cleve scoring at all....that pretty much held to form and somehow Indy can't really seem to score much this year.

Did you see the horrendous call that led to the Titans' cover? What a joke.

The Eagles and Colts did cover teasers.

Colts will play more conservative this year as they figured out you cannot win just passing every down

Yeah, Colts games are interesting to say the least. Seems as if they just want to eke out games rather than relying on Peyton. Maybe they are trying to save him for the playoffs?

However, after today's game, I'm sure there are a lot of fantasy players out there upset about using Manning for their first pick. Think he may have more INTs than TDs so far, despite the wins.
