As a tribute to industry pioneer Russ 'The Hawk' Hawkins who tragically passed away 2 weeks ago, SBR will hold a high stakes college football bowl capping contest!

We will adopt and follow all of Russ's rules.

You make 15 picks. Five picks will be designated as a 1 star, five picks as a 2 star and five picks as a 3 star.

SBR will award the winner $5,000 cash - bam!
2nd place 50,000 SBR points - WTF?
3rd place 25,000 SBR points - craddle me
4th place a signed photo of Natalie hugging Jonelyn at the SBR Christmas party - business as usual

Entry fee is 2,500 SBR points and last day to enter is December 17th. SBR Pros only. If you are non Pro go Pro or join a team. If you are outside the US you can buy points, whatever you do don't miss this one!

We will wait until the last week to decide if we want to offer a seat or two via satellite contests of some kind. If participation is strong none will be offered so as not to hurt the chances of the paid participants.

In your case, they will borrow the 5k from you but then never send it to you with the interest promised.

It's funny you said that. I'm really dependent on how I do in the Big one for poker myself on how I stack out for this event. Don't get me wrong I can earn it all probably by myself with just daily poker. But I'd rather limit my risk and have 2 other great minds to help. I mean let's face it you were right, between the three of us we'd have the different divisions covered.

I wasn't really expecting to have any takers on this but figured I would throw it out there and see if i got any bites..other than ttwarrior and yisman, I doubt you will find many, if any on sbr with a bad thing to say about me. I live my life honestly regarding business and am the type to always pay debts immediately. It would have to be on the honor system, so you would have to weigh the risk of that into your decision. Either way, all good and I hope all is well back in NY.
