i had that game in a big head to head contest at E O G...i had BYU - 39 1/2 and my opponent somehow had the opposite side +39 1/2 (of all the games on the board we both pick 7 and had opposite on that one..)

turned out I won anyway my 7 picks still won out barely but that was almost one for the all time contest record books..

It is amazing. Late in the season the past 10 years these humongous favorites are hitting at a really high rate (last year 50% but every other year has been profitable). Laying more than 3 tds these teams are hitting around 60% after game 7. This year they are 17-7 ats so far.

Another rule for college football:

Be careful betting unders on these extremely high totals of 65 points +

It is 40-26-1 so far this season to the over.

Totals over 68 are hitting at 24-14-1 for 63%

Last year also was profitable blindly playing overs on these high totals.

What do you make of this? fwiw the 3 yrs before that were 50% and the 6 yrs before that the unders hit 60% in these extremely high (64+) totals. My gut says its just random but I'm open to change my mind here if anyone has any good logic to support the change.
