Going to get lunch I'll explain later but having Tx AM, saying this is the play of the day means a lot.

Only loss they have was when they decided to go back to Mannion for some reason, so this time I really think it IS that simple. Lets cash it.

Looks good. Shaw is so inept. Inexcusable how many drives Stanford has neglected to feed Taylor. They get a ton of momentum back on Taylor's fierce TD run, get the ball back, and proceed to let their redshirt Frosh QB dictate the game. Taylor will break another if they give him the chance.

Good punt no return, just got to avoid giving up the long run.

We won? I'm not near a tv & my updates are far from instant.

I see! Nice call on 2H!

Was on this pretty big also and when I saw this thread after i placed wager i was fukkin pissed

                        Worked out

cant believe they went for 2 to try to go up 6

Right call but a lot of times coaches wont do that in that spot

thought for sure they would just kick the XP

                        saved the W

Man. If I was on -4 instead of the ML I'd have been throwing things.

                            absolutely

i was lucky to jump on +.5 second half

I saw a lot of PK's floating around

really a lucky win. very thankful Shaw went for 2 and they didnt convert

                                          young kid

he overthrew Wheaton early 4th quarter wide open deep in stanford territory

                                          nothing went right after that

I would be pissed if I had beavers ML

                                          they should of won

Vaz was horrible last few drives

Bronxer took the words out of my mouth.

He was shook up after he overthrew Wheaton. That double-pump fumble...Fukk. That was riduculous.

You're right though. That was uncharacteristic of Vas. He's been clutch since he got his shot. Not sure what happened today.

I was questioning Vaz going into that BYU game, asked my roommate his opinion (he knows very little about CFB), and he said this backup is going to be a stud, they'll dominate. Won me spread and ML that week and I've been a Vaz fan since.

Ya, it looked like he could have came back in, Mannion made a pretty good toss there though, but I was also surprised.

Like I said earlier in the thread, David Shaw did in this game what David Shaw does. He took the pedal off the metal. He has no killer instinct in big games. With the momentum Stanford had up 2 TDs, they stopped applying pressure on D. They gave O State all the outside routes they wanted and more.

What's worse is how blatantly Stanford underutilized S. Taylor. Only 19 carries in a game like this in inexcusable. Taylor busted a huge run in the 2nd half to pry some momentum back for Stanford. Stanford D gets a 3 and out. What does Shaw do next possession? He ignores Taylor and let's his Frosh QB run around. Same crap different game.

I'm not taking anything away from Vaz. He's a stud and played well in this game. But I'm not going to listen to how O State ML "should" have hit. Not the case. Stanford should have won going away.

That said, pfew...I'll take the win.
