I recently checked Allegiant's www.allegiantair.com schedule from Duluth,Minnesota and they had alot of flights to Vegas for $29.Getting back they were $79 and $89 but still a bargain.Last year on New Year's they had $1 one way flights.
I see all the non profit poverty groups on tv news crying up here that the first cold and snow hit and the homeless are going to freeze living under bridges.I'll bet if they laid off the bottle, weed, needle, pipe etc.for a day of bumming change, they could buy a ticket to Vegas where bumming people in a warm climate for change is more lucrative. Then you get 100's of college kids living the plight of the homeless in cardboard boxes up here for a night. What the hell good does that accomplish????Tell them to get a $29 ticket to Vegas and get to somewhere warm!!!!!Oh,I forgot, these kids are going for social work majors and they will lose all their clients if they buzz town for Vegas. Then they will be homeless and have to pay off loans on their fluff degrees.
