THE 11TH IS A SUNDAY WICH MEANS THIS CHECK CANT EVEN GO INTO MY BANK UNTIL NEXT WEEK ON MONDAY THE 12TH THEN I HAVE TO WAIT AGIAN AND CROSS MY FINGERS THIS ****** CHECK WONT BOUNCE.

WHY WOULD 5 DIMES SEND ME A NEW CHECK THATS POST DATED UNTIL SUNDAY NOVEMBER 11TH AND ANOTHER ******* CHECK THAT WILL HAVE PROBABLY A 10 DAY HOLD ON IT.

once a check is written and signed it is assumed good, and is legal tender.

Banks are allowed to cash post-dated checks because, according to the law, it is too hard for the banks to look at every check they cash in a single business day. Banks process up to 45,000,000 checks every day.
The bank is only supposed to cash "properly payable" checks, meaning checks that have the right signature. Checks being cashed against overdrawn accounts and post-dated checks are legal for presentation at the payee's bank.

It's up to a bank teller's discretion to run a post dated check through. I have an idea... just deposit it in your Bank's ATM. That will work.

Every time I've received a post dated check... a bank teller wouldn't cash it.

in mass you cant cash a post dated check.. however the bank will take it the business day before the actual date on the check.. good luck getting this cashed.. been reading your updated.. its a joke you are going on 50 days or so for 2700... i can even fathom that

I've post dated a check in the past and ask my buddy not to cash it on so and so date. Sure enough he went straight to the bank, and money came out of my account. That was about 5 years ago at Wells Fargo.
