on two of them, I played probably about 10 hours combined (two Saturdays, one was for an iPad and the other 5k freeplay points) without hitting anything. I certainly tried.

normal payback on the machine is 98.39% (if sbr doesn't have you doom-switched)
odds of royal flush with standard play are 1 in 40,390 (let's say 1 in 40,000)

so if you play 40,000 hands you will invest 200,000
payback is 98.39% or 196,780 + the extra 4,000 points for the royal or 200,780

so player advantage is small, but there is one at 100.39%

Well the important part of your statement is a fair game. Well we know that online casinos are not "fair" games. Or at least they dont pay out much lower than live casinos. So actually any numbers or charts really dont apply to this situation

I am going to give this a shot tonight!

Strategy adjustments bring royal chance up to 1:32,000 or so under optimal play (while reducing chance of some other hands very slightly).

I'm saying don't play unless u bet the max, but many may not have the points bankroll to justify the element of ruin betting the max.

Even if you do have the bankroll the correct strategy for the 100.71% is going to be a pain in the butt so realistically it's not 100.71%. Add to that how it's the payout for the rarest hand that makes up the otherwise very -ev game and I see a trap. Good luck for those who try.
