looks pretty bad, but even terrible gambling movies are better than mediocre non-gambling movies

i think "lay the points" or some other term that is actually USED in sports gambling would've been a better title

The book was way better. I read it a year or 2 ago, and watched this movie on demand over the weekend. (Comcast has it up, before it's in theaters for $9.99.) It definitely wasn't worth the $10...but was alright. Bruce Willis and Vince Vaughn make it watchable.

Starts by saying "based on a true story" the name in the movie is Dink Heimowitz.

Honestly never heard of Dink Fezzik.

Professional gamblers tend to resemble nerds more than degens, especially the more successful ones. Alot of analytical work goes into creating the numbers that beat the Vegas openers and closers.
