#17Once the final results come in it won't be close. Pro Democrat western states haven't tallied up yet. Only 65% votes in with California still left. Romney got dusted tonight. This was a blowout win...

#21This is what the losers always want to do. Change the rules so it is easier for them to win. They what all these voter ID laws and now this BS. Take your loss like a man and maybe toss out the extremists from your party and maybe you will have a chance to lose by a lesser margin.Comment -

#30See, this is where we get into silly time with politics. Republicans want 'states' rights' - but if you want that, the electoral college is EXACTLY that. The Senate is EXACTLY that. You can't have 'state's rights' and abolish the senate or the electoral college fundamentally. In fact - the electoral college and senate are the FOUNDATION of state's rights. I am not one of these people that believe's in 'let the states decide everything' people - I'm an American - lets work out the big things nationally and leave the small stuff to the states.Comment -

#31Bud, that would literally be the final blow for the republican party.
If they get rid of the electoral college, republicans don't have a shot in hell outside of maybe this isolated incident.Comment -

#35I think we should toss the electoral college, have proportional representation, and instant run-off voting like the rest of the developed world.
Republicans got one (with an assist from the SCOTUS) in '08, now it seems the democrats may have gotten one.
So can we call it even and end this archaic institution?Walter forgot... when you're desperate's when you got no choice.Comment
