Tough to cap until we know who is starting at QB for both teams. Alex Carder is back on the practice field for Western although he may not play. Alex Zordich may play for Buffalo. He is the better runner and backup Joe Licata is the better passer.
Couple things of note. It is seniors day in Buffalo and will be the last home game for 11 players. Buffalo has never beaten W. Michigan in 5 tries and is 3-35 against teams from the Western Conference of the MAC league.
My system calculations show a slight edge to Western Michigan based on the -3.5. That is driven by their big play ability on offense both running the ball and in the passing game. Leads me to believe that if Alex Carder can go Buffalo would be a no play.
