#113Gambling is nothing more than entertainment to me. I run a business for real money. I'm sorry that trying to win $10 a week so you can pay for your Netflix account is having a lot of money to you and that you rely on gambling to make a living. There's always the next life.Comment -

#125Matt I have told you guys many times on this site there are only two sports I win at NBA and Tennis. NFL is a crapshoot and even though I know a lot about the sport it's nothing compared to what i know about the other two. It's not my fault if you lose following me in NFL.
Hawley Vyguy came into my last three tennis threads all of which were underdogs (the other two much higher than this) and basically said they had no chance and they all won. That's why people get mad. He makes claims about tennis and doesn't once post any kind of reasoning or analysis for his bet. Just a bunch of one liner statements that don't contribute anything to this board.Cause Sleep is the Cousin of DeathComment -

One line reasoning??... I posted an entire paragraph on why this ferrer line is shady.
You maybe right on this one...but long term if you are betting into such shady lines, you will lose. The books lost big on this one. Tennis is probably one of the easiest sports to fix..have to convince just one guy. If you keep betting into such shady lines, you will lose long term.
Similar such shady lines which lost in last 2 weeks were tipsoravic, nishikori, djokovic and many more. If you have been following ATP circuit closely, you would know tons of favs lost and most were shady lines to entice public. This is the time books make all their money back.
This was one of those shady lines which should have gone books way as well.
But good call.
I would still take potro at +550 everytime after the first set. And I would be confident everytime I make that bet.Comment -

Another reason for the line the way it was is because Del Potro had about 5 days to practice on this surface while Ferrer only had 1 day to practice on these slow indoor hard courts. Books figured it favors the guy with more prep but Ferrer was on fire coming in here and was on Fire again today and has been this whole year.
Del Potro can't beat Ferrer on this surface. He needs a much quicker indoor court.
Let's just concentrate on tennis talk like this from now on. There's no point in arguing about shady lines at the world championships. save that for the atp 500s.Cause Sleep is the Cousin of DeathComment -

#129Same with the Eagles last night, but he'll never let that derail his delusions of grandeur.
Still waiting to see all those hand-written pages of 60% ATS winners in all his seasons betting the NBA.
The records he quotes on the forum, like 5 of 6, will never reach the level of statistical significance necessary to demonstrate actual skill because he simply doesn't possess it. That's why you find guys like vyomguy at TennisInsight, where the software won't let you fudge records, and why you find guys like Goaty here.Originally posted by StraitShooter90% of the guys dont give a shit about your problems..and the other 10 are glad you have them..Comment -

#131Is there a statistically significant record in there? All I saw was 6-5 for an aggregate $7 loss. How is that supposed to refute my contention that you always abandon records as they gain volume and trend towards insurmountable losses? Try again, please.
As for staking, why would you need anything more than one stake size, let alone the nine stake sizes that TI affords its documented cappers? If you can hit 60% in the NBA at -110 as you've been quoted by many people besides myself as saying, then all you need is a flat stake to absolutely rape the pregame NGA markets, or the tennis markets for that matter.Originally posted by StraitShooter90% of the guys dont give a shit about your problems..and the other 10 are glad you have them..Comment -

#133As of now there's no way to establish an independently verified record on SBR. Whitey or Ivan would be a better person to ask, as they've been working on an SBR product to meet that need for about the past 22 months, as memory serves.Originally posted by StraitShooter90% of the guys dont give a shit about your problems..and the other 10 are glad you have them..Comment
