I'm a hard core bears fan, and love them (and bet them almost every week), but I'm not sure this is worth a larger than standard play.

I was going to grab the Bears pick last night, hoping it would get to -3, just don't think it will get that high. Took the under 42.5 in this one and Det-P instead.

This line seems like a gift.
I get the Bears in a night game at home and dont have
to lay any points????
what am i missing here? the Texans are not as
strong on the road.

Lol can't wait to see Cutler get knocked on his ass a couple times and then start crying on the sideline.
Bears O-line is going to get raped.

I'm a HUGE bears fan and I'd feel more comfortable teasing the hell out of the bears - the offense is still trying to perform on the same level as the D.... or at least come to close to the D's performance.
Don't get me wrong - I want them to win, just not sure about play of the year.

Well i havent placed the wager yet. I'm already starting to second guess based on yalls Responses.Gotta make a thread title like this at SBR to get anybody to chat it up.So i guess people are still doubting Cutler and thatO-line....Brandon Marshall is pretty hard to stop though. It does kind bug me that this is the next game afterthe Bears put 55 on the board.I HATE being on the same side as the public soIf this is a public play i will not go as heavy or lay off

Besides, the Bears haven't beaten a winning team yet this entire year, except week 1 beating Indy in QB's rookie debut. Houston is well balanced on both sides of the ball, no real weaknesses and the favorite to win the Super Bowl.
I expect Cutler to not play as well as usual, and Cutlah's usual is a QB rating below the league average and 1 INT per game.

remember what Suh and those boys from DET did to that Bears O line
JJ Watt just as good if not better than Suh and Texans have a strong D line.

Very true, Det is getting their shit back together and sacked Cutler 5 times and 76 passer rating that game. Houston D is way tougher than what Cutlah has faced. Bears have played 2 teams with winning records, they snapped Indy off in Week 1 and only managed 10 points in a loss to GB.
Against this weak schedule, Cutler still has 8 INTs and a QB rating below the league average. I think Houston plays a motivated statement type game, the kind GB played on them in primetime this year already.

It's Texans or no play. The under on Bears TT might be in play too

Think of it this way: The Bears have played 2 teams with winning records(Colts in Luck's first game, and the Packers), and split them. The Texans offense isn't one to make mistakes like the other teams they have faced(Schaub 4 INTs, 2 team fumbles). Cutler is worse at night. This has all the makings of a 28-7 Houston blow out. Anyone taking the Bears is either a die hard, or has no gambling clue

That was against a highly motivated GB team who had struggled to open the season. Rodgers said "we know we are the favorites tonight," and the offense went out and played a lights out game.
It wasn't a major talent gap, just a major motivation gap, and GB was determined to reestablish themselves as the team oddsmakers respected more than any other NFC team during the playoffs/end of season last year. GB did not want to go 2-4 and their offense dominated in that 42-24 win at Houston.

Houston has played tougher opponents overall (Balt, Denv, Miami) and both teams lost to GB.

Did you heed the advice of people telling you to lay off Chicago, maybe bet Houston, or even possibly take the under, noticed it kept going down after opening.

Could not agree more.If Detroit would not have shit themselves in the foot several timesthe bears wouldalost that game as well. They only had 13 points against Detroit in good weather. This is why I pucked the Texans this morning as my POD before the discussions even began
