Celts as road favorites...they love to play down to the competition sometimes.

if ur talking about ATS then its a fluid process and any team can be streaky.
now, if your talking SU winners just fade whoever the Spurs play

I agree, try to figure out the overvalued teams at the time and fade them to regress to the mean. Early on, seems like LAL has had alot of hype and obviously aren't playing as team, nagging injuries there also, but awesome talent once they get cranking.
Undervalued teams are equally good to find. Clips should be better when Billups gets back and should have their best year in recent history. Small market Toronto should get better and fly under the radar until they eventually rack up a string of ATS wins. Memphis should be ready to play well, fully healthy this year, I just jumped on them when I saw the line drop to 5 vs the Jazz tonight. Indiana also a small market team who should pound most of the East into submission.

Damn this was closer than it needed to be. Memphis only won by 9, damn flagrant foul with 3 seconds left. Surprised noone else mentioned this game in the posts.
Maybe I should just stick with the o/u plays I get from my computer based friends. Such an impersonal grind betting those on purely quantitative analysis, I prefer to combine it with qualitative.

Brooklyn Nets. Overrated, at least right now.

I agree, the novelty of the team's new name/stadium might price them higher than they should be at first, not to mention the issues they will have integrating the new players.
Like someone else mentioned though, it is a fluid dynamic market and valuations can change quickly.
If you are looking for the team that will lose the most games against the spread I would say the 76ers.

I mentioned that in my NBA thread. Freaky crap. Good thing it didn't wreck the spread for Memphis backers.
