Has there ever been an 8-0 team vs a possible 2-6 team with a line this low.

Others that stand out immediately: Lions by 1 @ Vikings, Bucs by 3 vs Chargers, Colts by 3 @ Jags,

Record means nothing the '72 Dolphins opened as dogs in the Superbowl. I saw -3 yesterday though where do you see that line?

Dont think that line can stay at 1 after the Saints lose tonight, they are not the same team without Sproles

Must not know anything about the Saints. Watch tonight and you'll learn all about a kid named Cadet.

Falcons are good but based on the last few games it's obvious they can be beat by a top 5 qb if it's a close game going into the 4th.

Divisional Rivals between these two teams usually keep this game close.

After that decent win by the saints the line is -1 juiced.
Looks like a fun week next week.

I know, plus Atlanta is not even much better than the Saints anyway.
Just find it funny how the books don't give a penetrate about the Falcons,
Good chance Saints win this game.

Not that much better than the Saints is not an unfair statement. So why is ATL -1 wrong?

Well id say its wrong bc lines are based on what the public will do, not what the linesmakers think the score will be. And the general public would almost certainly think atl should be -6 or so.
As a homer im not saying the saints will win. Its a short week to prepare and ryan-white/jones/gonzalez will be toughest combo seen all year. we sure wont be getting 7 sacks.
Should be a great game to watch

Already at -2.5. Cheating Saints can't stop the pass. Falcons will throw the ball all over the place.

Lines are set to optimize the books position. The Falcons are 8-0 and the Saints are normally a team that gets solid public support. Both teams are coming off primetime games where the Falcons looked good, and the Saints looked great. Divisional game in New Orleans. The public isn't thinking -6 here...

What position? The same position as last week?
The public does not think, they could just put out -4.5 and it be the same to them.

Falcons certainly don't pass the eye test as an undefeated team this late in the year. With that said though I'm not sure why anyone would have faith in the Aints. There defense is HORRIFIC at best lol!! They had good #'s last night but did not look good most of the game. It was not so much the Aints defense looked good last night the real truth is Philly's offense (ecs the line) is just that BAD!

I have a similar line with my numbers. Falcons have a much better pass defense, but they can't stop the run or stop anyone in the red zone. Saints also have one of the top home field advantages in the league.
