Gotta be referring to the point spread
As the FG to put Atlanta up by 6 goes through Al Michaels says, "That's going to make a lot of people happy, and a lot of other people unhappy". That FG didn't mean a lot in the context of the straight up game, but obviously changed the team who was winning betting wise.

Love how the NFL pretends that no one bets on the game.

I love it when Al makes subtle gambling hints, has done it a couple of times over the last few seasons.

I have no clue why he would kick the fg there risking a bad snap or block. Killed me on my bet but it was still dumb.

.... because it forces dallas to go for a TD.

If he went for it there, he was a goddamn moron.

Disagree it would be 16 secs left at the 10. Would have to be a TD anyways.

If Dallas stopped Atlanta, they'd just need a FG to tie.

I was on Dallas but of course you kick the field goal there. Dallas would have only had to play for the 35/40 yardline instead of the end zone.
