They are trying to hype this fight as the greatest thing since slice bread, Slick. I just can't see Lesner even winning this fight at all unless it's fixed.

If Couture can get him down then her should easily beat Lesnar.

The problem is that the ref is going to be itching to stand this back up if he doesn't see a lot of action on the ground. And that hurts Couture. But expect Couture to snap an arm or choke him out as soon as Brock get tiered.

Yes, it seems JJ's skills in the ring have diminished. All he has to hang his hat on is that pitter patter slow left jab, and his endurance seems suspect. Often after only 1 minute of sparring he breaks into that cough attack.

I wasn't sold on Lesnar at first. I thought he was merely a vehicle to unite the MMA/WWE crowd. Unlike Kimbo Slice, Lesnar has continued to develop his skills.

I also took Joe Stevenson +170 against Kenny Florian. I really like KenFlo, but he just doesn't have a fighter's physique & strength. Then again, the Gracies were beanpoles back in the day, but the days of the Gracies are over. Now you've gotta be cut up like an NFL LB to make it in the MMA world.

that has nothing to do with it...

alot of dudes in the MMA may be ripped and strong, but that is a by-product and not a pre-requisite..

take 100 big strong, gym physiques... and only 1 or 2 will have what it takes in heart/mental makeup to go very far.

I don't care what kinda biceps you have... chins are more important.

I don't care what your abs look like.... fight endurance is more important

money is coming in by wrestling fans and the occasional MMA watcher. Lesnar gets money because he passes the eyeball test. Serious guys will back Couture. I think it is very possible Lesnar wins but the better value is Couture with his craftiness and experience not to mention he knows how to fight another wrestler.

Lesnar is too much of an unknown quantity...

Couture is alot more known.. but its been awhile since he has fought, and at his age... 1 year brings alot of deteriation physically... the skills/knowledge/experience are there.

It will come down to mistakes... who makes them, and who capitalizes..

wisdom would say that Lesnar is way more prone to making a mistake here, and Couture most likely will capitalize...

if you watch Lesnar's first fight.. he was dominating Mir... and it looked like Lesnar would win in quick fashion, but in his physical domination he made one small mistake, that a guy like Mir waits for..
