The 2 or 3 of us that are left don't see too many things to get excited about nowadays, but our new uniforms and mascot are going to be officially revealed tonight. There have already been leaks of our logo and possible mascot.

Remember how Astros were in the playoffs 6 out of 9 years. Seems like ages ago but only a few years back.

Unreal how fast they fell off the baseball planet.

The biggest reason for the fall off is that from around the late 90's through 2007 or so they traded away all their talent in the minor leagues for free agent pick ups. McLane decimated the minor league system during those years, beginning with the trade for Randy Johnson in the late 90's.

When a team is constantly raiding it's future to win now it takes a toll.

I do like the new uniforms, it's kind of a mixture of previous one's.

Astros need to rock more of the BRIGHT orange. I'm a Mets fan (insert jokes here), and to be honest, that logo and color combination looks Metsy. I want the Astros to go back to their Colt .45 roots and utilize more BRIGHT orange.

I might be the only person on the planet that actually LIKED the old Astros uniforms that were rainbowy orange, for lack of a better term. I would like to see them bring those back.

The Astros won't be playing baseball, they don't play baseball in the AL. I hope all you Astros fans do the right thing and bitch constantly about the abomination they call the DH. Fans should call the AL game DHball.
