Except for beating Utah at home, they beat Charlotte, Okla City, Miami, Washington and Memphis.

It all depends on who they move. If they can get Marion from Miami it could get interesting.

They look 10x better this year.. But the way they are playing looks like they might die out later into the season.

Actually, they are 6-3 ... and the problem with your logic is this. They WERE those teams over the past several years. The fact they are actually beating those types of teams is one hell of an improvement. I thought we'd have to wait a few more years to even start thinking about the playoffs. Now, I am not so sure it will take that long.
And that's a good thing, my little Democrat cynic ...

One of the best coaches in the NBA and he's really proving it this season. Who cares who the Knicks are beating...the fact that they are beating anybody is a huge step up from last year. In a few years they'll be a contender.

Curious how much of an improvement Knicks end up at the end of the year.

Starbury is the highest paid player in the nba and all he does is sit on the bench in his Armani suits. Good deal for him, get paid 20+ million to do nothing.
