Just sayin against Notre Dame the young men at the skilled positions for miami had their "nerves game" already. A "nerves game" is having the national spotlight on you in a meaningful game, now that the players got their jitters out vs ND (coulda had 14 points first quarter if not for dropped passes) i expect them to have a better feel for the game and the comfort of being at "home" (penetrate the marlins FOREVER for taking the orange bowl) Notre Dame was even surprised at the speed of these boys.

Omitted in this calculation by Fremeau was the game against Bethune Cookman. No way the other games quantify as a number one schedule.

Va Tech going with an injured backup @ center on the road in his first start of the year. Va Tech has not had much success on the road at all this year.

Miami has all sorts of issues stemming from the off field bullshit and the coaches snub of a lot of his veterans to play the underclassmen.
