I don't think lakers were the wrong side. I have said I got lucky when I had the wrong side. But trust me I rarely have the wrong side when it comes to getting the best line. Lakers opened up +8.5 and closed +7.5. I had the right side.

The whole point, though, is that you didn't beat the closer here. You got 7.5 -- not 8.5. And your favorite book closed at 8.

Beating closers is an important aspect of being successful. But just because you beat the closer doesn't mean you're on the right side. If I had beaten the closer and taken BOS -1 today would that mean I had the right side? Or how about I bet the over in the Dallas/PHX game yesterday at 199. Total closed at 205. Great bet right...yeah except the game total was 191.

You know all this. LA was down 19 in the 4th...completely let up last 2 mins and LA hit miracle shots. OKC was the right side here. The right side doesn't always win. You now all this.
