JJ is one of my dearest friends on any sort of forum and I know if myself or my son were ever in trouble he'd move Heaven and Earth to make it ok. Him seeing my username pop up over there gave him a bit of a jolt for 30 seconds until he realised the loser - whomever you are - wasn't me.

However I have also told him repeatedly that I like the idea of a Capper of the Month or something different. This isn't Earth-shattering. And it's not a competition. EOG is not SBR and never will be for better or worse. Vice versa. Not a bad thing. Please stop trying to make it so as many people just want to continue to do what they did well before this nonsense started.

JJ and I spent about 4-5 days a month talking about this list off the forum for 10-45 mins at a time. and he wanted to hand it over to me as he didn't like checking the subforums and validating capper's records ect.

for this last edition I'll just go with his notes and preferences from the our oct 20th skype on the subject and fill in the blanks.

it'll be the last POTM that JJ had his hand in

going forward I recommend that Shari, make what she wants to see happen following the model of Willie Bee back in the day the way we used to do it. except maybe use like 10 posters rather than 2 to nominate the winners

I never understood POTM.

Not that I care, but the last few months it's really bothered me, maybe because of certain people's obsession with it.

I always thought it was a joke, JJ always picked the biggest goofballs for the list... there was no criteria for it whatsoever. I always thought he did that, so it would be a big joke. didn't he send gift packages with packets of ketchup?

But it's gotten out of hand... people take it so seriously. (AND YES, I'VE NEVER BROKEN TOP 100. WTF???).

I guess people want it, so SBR should continue it, but there should be some guidelines how it's going to be judged. And everyone should at least get a kinda-sorta-poster-of-the-month badge, so they can feel as special as the retarded kid.

Not that I'm bitter, but it's like being rejected at the blood mobile. You see this crack-ho-junkie gets to give blood, and all of sudden, all you can think about is the free cookies you're missing out on!!! What's wrong with my blood? LIFE IS JUST NOT FAIR!!!
