Minnesota gives up 5 YPC, and only averages 25 points per game. Theiir only up-side is their passing defense, but Michigan will go without passing it for the rest of the year if they can. If I found out Michigan ran for 300 yds I really wouldn't be suprised. This Michigan team can also play some D this year. And Dennard is banged up but playing.
As for Syracuse, there's no factors really pointing to them showing up. Cincinnatti scores 7 PPG more on offense and gives up 6 PPG less on defense....and they're at home...
Unless i'm missing something these look to be far from locks. What's the key info here that points to these upsets? I'm cool with no giant write ups, but you gotta give us somethin'.

Why do posters on here constantly bet on some of the shittiest teams and call them locks. Gets real old.

Can't back Minnesota this weekend, even though they looked good last week, and they will be at home again.
Minnesota's front seven is vastly undersized, and they usually get steamrolled at the line of scrimmage when they meet a team with an average or better offensive line. That's what happened against Iowa, Northwestern, and Wisconsin. It will more than likely happen again vs Michigan this week.
Minnesota's small, but quick D is more equipped to defend pass-happy, spread teams that throw short to intermediate passing routes. That is how they limited Syracuse, Purdue, and Western Michigan to pull out victories in those games. That won't be the case this week, as the Wolverines should be able to impose their will in the running game.

Plus, whenever somebody says "forget the write-ups and reasoning", they should probably be turned on auto-fade.

The only reason I'm staying away from Mich-Minn is that I don't know how much Denard will play.
I am sure Vegas line already reflects this. If Denard is in for 3 quarters as usually, I see a blow out.
If Denard plays about 2 quarters, the spread seems right.
If he doesn't play at all, Mich likely will not cover.

No, by that manner you won't see him, he'll be work on the next lock post.
Should it win he'll be back to tell you all about it and why it hit.
