Ok normally, this is a happy perky good morning thread, but today we have more serious issues abounding... feel free to check in and let all of us in other areas know you are ok, alive, etc.

Happy Birthday to will2survive today, I am sure it will be a birthday you will never forget. Hopefully you and your family are ok and able to at least celebrate a little together

Thoughts and prayers are with all of you as you go through this devestating event and in the days coming

Checking in from CNJ....let me say we are very fortunate. A tree fell near our house but tilted the other way, siding didn't come off although we can see a few houses being damaged a little. Did not lose power and am seeing on FB that everyone around in neighboring towns have lost power, a friend who lives in town has lost power and PSE&G saying that it will Nov5th before they can restore power. So feeling extremely lucky but at the same time feeling bad for folks around us.

That said loving the Wizards and Mavs....

Waiting on guy the insurance company is sending to tarp roof. Wasnt to bad but alot of shingles missing and a little water in the attic

I took everything remotely expensive out that i could

Hopefully my sheetmetal break is ruined so they will give me a new one

Scranton, PA here... all good, the trees next 2 my apt. building still str8 upright.
Reamed the fridge expecting no electricity... still have electricity, but most perishable food
been scarfed [oh wait, 3 slices of leftover pizza in fridge...]
Mostly noisy last couple of nights.
Not taking mtn. bike out til 2morrow 2 replenish milk/soda/etc. .
Maint. left note wants to come by Thurs., chg. furnace filter, chk. smoke alarm [evry 6 months!].
Thingz slowly returning 2 normal.
