It meant the writing was on the wall and people much smarter and more knowledgeable than myself -- or anyone else on this forum -- felt the Niners were enough of a play to try and entice Arizona backers by moving to +7.5 and then juicing the shit out of them at the sharpest book in the world.

Has nothing to do with conspiracies or fixed games, but everything to do with linesmakers who do this for a living and know what they're doing.

I get your what you are saying. So everytime 7 moves from 7 to 7.5, the odds of hitting increases or does that just help re assure one that they are on the supposed right side right? Loss or win

If every other book (for the most part) is sitting at 7 and Pinny goes to 7.5 and juices the dog, then yes, the fave is going to hit a hell of a lot more often than not.

No guarantees, but you see it quite often with Pinny and they're usually right. If you're sitting on a +7 and Pinny does this -- especially given where this line opened both side and ML -- let's just say it's not a good sign. It happened in two college games over the weekend too.
