He's 50 years old and by some accounts, well over 400 lbs. Barring a major change in his weight, he's already on borrowed time as far as major health issues looming on the horizon.

With that being said, in times of a crisis, people flock to a "take charge" kind of guy. Guiliani rode that crest before becoming a one trick pony in the 2007/8 runup.
