Whether through hacking, employee theft, or the site themselves selling the info, I assure you that your info is never safe. It WILL get shared. And if you happen to deposit via CC, watch it. I've seen databases that not only included full login information (username and password), but also your full CC information.

No customer database for any business operating out of Costa Rica is safe, period. It is well known that unscrupulous employees have repeatedly acquired and then transfered databases to other persons for many reasons generally ending in some sort of monetary gain over the last 15 years. Usual suspects: computer technicians (they have the worst reputations, Costa Rican that is, for always acquiring a personal copy of their employers database), customer service clerks, sales staff (sales always deals in lists in many business sectors, usually buying and reselling them when done)... so lists are sold out right on the front end or are exchanged for some sort of percentage of the sheet that the list produces... your information will network out over time and will basically be sitting in some form in half the offshore books offices within a matter of a few years... If you are using the same old information to open accounts year after year then it is hard to pinpoint when your info was initially disseminated. Data resellers are usually caught when a person uses a brand new phone number that they have only given to one service and they start to receive sales calls from other services that they had never contacted. If you have been a player for 5 years or more using offshore services I would figure that at least well over a hundred principles have possession of some of your personal data like name, phone, address or state... and if a thorough file your overall gross wins to losses from the primary service that the data was stolen from.
