For all you conspiracy people that think games are fixed that you have beton where the whole thing is rigged at times when you see irregular movements in lines and such, how about the spectacle that took place on Wall Street today.Dow was off over 300 bringing the Dow to under 8K.Bush shows up and gives a rip roaring speech on the economy next door but never made an expected appearance on the floor of the stock exchange and hastily leaves. The volume is light and the government's plunge protection team moves in and buys a ton of shares to artificially bring the Dow up well over 500 points in positive territory for the day.

Do you think this whole thing was a total staged put on?They told Bush to leave as to not making it totally obvious that the cheerleading fix was in?As if any appearance by Bush on or near the stock exchange would lend confidence to people or hedge fund big block traders to buy stock today. If anything,Bush's appearance should have been a sure fire way for the stock market to go down today.

Anyone who feels confident about buying stock in this rigged financial environment should have their head examined. It would be the same as betting on NFL games where 10 of the games that weekend were to be fixedand you knew how many were to be fixed but not which ones.

The market is inherently corrupt, yes. And the PPT is just the tip of the iceberg, so your emphasis on it suggests you're just scratching the surface.

Regardlessly, this is a great time to buy stocks. Rock bottom prices. When everybody is afraid, that is the time to step in.

Is there a downside? Sure. Money may become completely worthless, in which case we're all back to zero. So why worry about that?

If you like gambling, you'll love the stock market. It's gambling on steroids. If you have money to invest, this is the time to set yourself up for life. Big if, I guess.

Our markets are not rigged. Volume has been so light the past 2 months which freezes up liquidity which causes increased volatility. I watch CNBC everyday and I have no idea where the INDU is going to close. They should remove GM from the Dow. GM has a market cap of less than 2 billion and is a big contributor to the volatility of the Dow.
