Another beautiful October morning! Leaves falling on the ground, warm weather, and the weekend coming up! Thinking about painting inside the house this weekend, have the paint bought and ready to go, need a change so this should be an interesting project especially since the kids will be home tomorrow

Been there, done that for three and a half years, much of that time was wonderful and fun, some of it was extremely sad, and some it was just a job that I no longer was passionate about. I met many great people over there, made some enemies, and had many, many laughs but going back there just holds too much in my history that I am not sure I want to relive every day of my life.

Coming to SBR was a great thing for me it gave me the opportunity to stay in the industry, but also to be able to let go of the pain of the memories and smile about them with fondness...

Use to be ebay gift cards for the kids, but now alas have had to change to other gift cards, just had a Wal Mart one sent last week. Bought the paint for my dining room and living room with it. Since I paint every 6 months to a year I don't go for the expensive stuff.

Since I work from home, I am here A LOT during the day. I get bored with the color much faster than someone who works outside of the house and isn't home but in the evening and on weekends. I find it start to paint when I get in a rut or routine in life. It's a change that doesn't harm anyone in my family, doesn't cost a lot overall, and is something that I see daily. I find it helps in many areas of my life to get that spark back and increases my overall productivity

Parent Teacher Conferences

Being the parent that I am, I have done most of ours via email. Hell I see most of their teachers on a regular basis around town and at events anyhow, so why meet with them for a special conference if there are ever any issues they usually just call me or send me a message.
